Created with Photoshop in approximately 15-20 hours. This picture reflects my love for water and my dream that one day humans will live in perfect harmony with the oceans.

This started as an exercise to try and recreate AndreeWallin's incredible piece Curvy City. Then it somehow turned into something quite different. I've also taken inspiration from some of dylancole's personal work. I admire both these artists immensely and try to learn from them as much as I can in hope of one day get the chance to work with the kind of projects they are involved in.

To learn how I made this image, see this page on my blog: samuelnordius.blogspot.co.uk/2…

Nicely done. Have you ever seen Future by Design? If not, take a look, you might like some of the sea cities concepts.

Thanks! Yes, I really love Jacque Fresco's ideas and wish I would live in his society rather than this capitalist one. I've been very inspired by the Venus Project and the idea of a sustainable resource based economy.

There is an organization that promotes and works on building cities on the sea/ocean, but I seem unable to find it. Maybe their page changed, there are others that are very similar. Their designs were somewhat different from Frescos, but seemed feasible. As for TVP, nothing will change unless people work on it. You have a great skill and as far as I know they are always looking for people in this profession, so maybe you can get in touch. Keep up the good work.

Edit: It was this site if I recall correctly.

I sympathize with your love of the oceans, they really are quite beautiful. Perhaps some day.
You know, we can build homes underwater these days!

I've seen some pictures of underwater homes. They were beautiful but I would feel a bit anxious living like that, I think. Constantly worrying about leaks. ;)

I never read the book but I'm familiar with the story. If I'm not mistaken I watched some old film version as a kid.

Well, in any case, it always seemed like a fanciful idea. They make submarines like that now - underwater yachts. But they're pricey.
